A traditional Tuscan garden surrounds the villa. There is a maze with a small “bosco," other shaded bucolic areas, and circular paths that where once covered with gravel. Bonsai lemon trees, 150 year old, some in their original terracotta urns made in nearby Impruneta, are placed along side the boxwood hedge. Cypress trees, 90 years old, line the path to the traditional “bella vista,” which was planted when the present owner’s family bought the house and surrounding farmland. |
